Who is Maison Dandieu?
Maison Dandieu, a family-run poultry business with over 60 years of experience, carries a unique French tradition and has built its reputation on quality, authenticity, and sustainable farming practices. Now led by its third generation, the company demonstrates how consistent values and commitment to excellence can drive long-term growth and consumer trust.
“Foodclean is the only company on the market to have developed such a high-quality centralised system. Before we invested in Foodclean, we did our calculations, we found that we gained much more with Foodclean’s Chemflow than any other alternative. We had a very productive exchange with your sales experts, they are here to answer us quickly and accurately to all our problems. The decision was made quickly and easily”.
M. Gabriel Frere – Maison Dandieu
After receiving the equipment, M. Frere was able to easily coach his team on how to use the Foodclean Chemflow Centralised System thanks to the help from our local engineer, Fabien.
“Fabien was very proactive and is always available to answer my questions and visit on-site when needed.”
The Challenge They Faced
We interviewed M. Gabriel Frere to understand the challenges his team faced with their existing centralised system. At Maison Dandieu, the need to upgrade was critical: unreliable data and excessive chemical usage during cleaning were major concerns. Inaccurate dosing meant the team could not consistently verify the cleanliness of their processes. The solution was clear – a more precise and reliable centralised system was required.
While exploring industry innovations at the annual CFIA event in Rennes, M. Gabriel Frere visited the Foodclean stand and consulted with our experts. Within a few months, we delivered a Chemflow Centralised System, customised specifically to meet the factory’s operational needs.
What tangible results were you able to witness after your investment with Foodclean?
“In just two months, we were able to reduce our chemical usage by approximately 35-40% which was incredible to see. Not only did we gain in consumption, but also in accuracy; the system Foodclean provided showed exactly on its interface the chemicals we were using in our IBCs. We stopped wasting time checking them every so often to make sure we hadn’t run out, but most importantly, we were cleaning much better. The Chemflow System has shown stronger cleaning results after swab tests with a smaller amount of disinfectant used, and that truly amazed us”.
“Going forward, 98% of our needs in cleaning equipment will be provided by Foodclean, that’s for sure,” Added M. Frere when asked about his experience.
M.Frere had also highlighted that they noticed a significant amount of time reduction when it came to cleaning. Each operator now saves 10 minutes per day, and with a team of six hygiene operators, this amounts to one hour saved daily across the factory – leading to more production uptime and, in the long run, higher income. The Chemflow system has since proven to be more than a standard centralised solution; it is a long-term investment that ensures precise monitoring, elevates hygiene standards, and delivers measurable operational benefits for Maison Dandieu.
When asked to sum up his experience in one sentence, M. Frere described it as “simple and efficient.” Following this success, our sales team is already working with him on new projects to enhance hygiene practices and uphold the highest standards in the food industry.
